On the morning of January 6, 2024, under the warm and gentle sunshine, Qi Baihong, Chairman of the Group Corporation, visited Lutai Nano to conduct research and provide guidance. Zhang Shewen and Wei Yanxia, leaders of the Group Corporation, accompanied him on the visit.
Chairman Qi Baihong visited the control room of the new project site to gain firsthand insight into the progress of the soda ash project. He asked in detail about zinc oxide production, sales, as well as the commissioning of the new project, equipment operation, and process technology. He pointed out that, in response to the issues encountered during the commissioning phase, the production processes should be refined in a timely manner to achieve full production capacity as soon as possible. At the same time, energy management and cost control must be strengthened to reduce costs and energy consumption, ensuring that the new project can operate continuously and efficiently. 
Chairman Qi Baihong gave the following instructions for Lutai’s work in 2024: First, we must remain confident and maintain the determination to hold fast to our goals without wavering. By working diligently and wholeheartedly, we will surely achieve excellent results. Second, we must persist in technological upgrades and dare to innovate. Technological upgrades and innovation must never stop. Technological reform is the driving force behind enterprise development; we should fully promote the transformation of technological upgrades into productive forces and use technology to enhance efficiency. Third, we must stick to R&D and continuously strengthen our core competitiveness. Fourth, we must make good use of relevant project support policies, strive for various project subsidies and rewards, and maximize our benefits.
Chairman Qi Baihong urged that Lutai’s current development should leverage trends, harness strengths, and take advantage of established pathways. “Leveraging trends” means we must align ourselves with the broader industry trends and the nation’s environmental protection initiatives in order to achieve steady and sustainable progress. “Harnessing strengths” involves making effective use of the robust backing provided by the Group company and the technological advantages of China’s research institutes—avoiding isolated, inward-looking approaches and boldly stepping outward to empower our products and enhance their added value. “Taking advantage of established pathways” means unwavering commitment to the path of circular economy and sustainable development. Green development and the circular economy are both essential for the industry and in line with the demands of our times. We must firmly grasp this guiding principle, closely focus on the goals of greenness, circularity, energy conservation, and development, make concerted efforts, and deliver tangible results.
