Use (function)
Zinc oxide itself possesses strong antibacterial and immune-enhancing properties, offering preventive effects against gastrointestinal diseases in animals, reducing the incidence of diarrhea, and enhancing the body’s immune capabilities. It is a multifunctional feed additive. As an essential trace element for animals, zinc directly participates in the metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in animal bodies, playing a crucial role in boosting the body’s immune resistance, antioxidant capacity, and production performance. However, conventional zinc exhibits less-than-ideal absorption and utilization; its surface adsorption ability is poor, making it difficult to adhere effectively to the intestinal lumen of animals and thus exert its bactericidal and antibacterial effects. The feed-grade nano-zinc oxide LT-A95S produced by Jiyuan Lutai Nanomaterials Co., Ltd. features high surface activity and is widely used in the poultry and livestock feed additive industry. It enhances the bioavailability of feed ingredients, significantly reduces the feed-to-meat ratio, lowers production costs, and minimizes the environmental impact of livestock and poultry waste.
Features (Advantages)
1. Compared to ordinary zinc, this product exhibits suboptimal absorption by animal bodies, and most of the zinc is excreted along with poultry and livestock waste, causing environmental pollution. However, this product boasts surface activity and antibacterial adsorption capabilities that are tens or even hundreds of times higher than those of conventional zinc oxide. It enhances animals’ disease resistance, immune function, and antioxidant capacity, enabling a highly efficient use of zinc oxide at lower feed concentrations and thereby reducing the environmental pollution caused by poultry and livestock excreta.
2. The product’s specific surface area remains stable at 50 m²/g or higher, and its surface adsorption exhibits even superior bactericidal and antibacterial performance. The product’s bactericidal and antibacterial rates all exceed 98%, helping to reduce the feed-to-meat ratio and save production costs.
3. After undergoing continuous purification and impurity removal, and supported by scientific and technological achievements, the product is used as a feed additive with harmful impurity levels significantly lower than the requirements of the industry standard HG/T 2792-2011 “Feed-Grade Zinc Oxide.”
